This is a great small town with lots of things to do, whether it is exploring the old town or hiking on of the several hills nearby. The food is amazing and affordable. And one of the hills, Fortica, has a great observation deck and a zipline. But keep in mind, that lots of places are closed on Sundays.

24 hours is about right if you get there in the morning. This way, you can see the Old Town in the morning, sunset and after dark. Most tourists left by late afternoon, so it was nice to walk around with less of a crowd.

City with a great atmosphere, and lots of things to see and do, including seeing historical buildings and architecture, visiting museums, going to religious sites, admiring nature, shopping for souvenirs, etc. Had no problem finding a good place to eat - I went to Food House Mostar and had coffee in Coffee Factory. Most of the spots in Mostar can be reached on foot. Plenty of fun activities: sightseeing, hiking, going to museums, eating out, and shopping.

Mostar Old Bridge and surrounding area are beautiful and offer numerous waterfront restaurants for relaxed dining. The only practical way around Old Town is by walking. The market offers the usual array of souvenir items and the vendors are not annoyingly aggressive. Great place for a brief 2-3 night visit.

Mostar, nestled in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a captivating destination that seamlessly blends history and resilience. Its true beauty lies in its commitment to moving beyond the horrors of the recent past. Stari Most, a 16th-century bridge, is not just an architectural marvel but a symbol of unity, rebuilt after its wartime destruction. The city's cobblestone streets resonate with a harmonious blend of cultures and traditions. The call to prayer and church bells coexist, showcasing Mostar's dedication to healing and reconciliation. Engage with the locals, savour traditional Bosnian cuisine, and be inspired by their unwavering hope for a brighter future. Mostar isn't just a place; it's a profound journey through history, resilience, and the promise of a better tomorrow. This unique city is a must-visit for travellers who value the significance of its story and appreciate the human spirit's ability to move forward.

Our stay was unforgetable. Absolutely the best stay at Mostar. Staff are absolute friendly. They always asked us if we need help. Hotel and room is really clean, we're lucky they upgraded our room with a blacony so we can see the amazing view of the old town. Hospitality are awesome, thanks to Najla, Janet and the rest of the team (we didnt manage to ask their names) they are really kind and helpful. Also, we love the healthy and delicious breakfast. Overall this place is highly recommended. we love to come back here again next time.

I just fell in love with this room overlooking the river. Very colorful Bosnian house in the city center. I think this is the best location in Mostar. I liked my room so much that I didn’t even want to go out for a walk). It was very cozy, like from a fairy tale. Grape leaves grow on the windows. The house is perfectly clean, not a speck of dust. Everywhere smells of freshly washed bedding. Large beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Very responsive host, answered all my many questions)

Impeccably clean, wonderful views over the Neretva River in the heart of Mostar, and a well furnished kitchen, as well as a sunny balcony made the apartment at Guest House City Star one of the very best places I've stayed during several months of traveling in the Balkans. The hosts are friendly and on the days they are around will make a great cup of Bosnian coffee for you, and when I asked for a corkscrew, the host delivered it along with a wonderful bottle of Hercegovian wine.

We have had a wonderful hospitality from Haris! He is very nice, cheerful and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the old town. Free parking is available in the hotel courtyard. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is lovely and you shouldn't miss the local character of delicious Bosnian coffee. The balcony of Villa Park offers a wonderful view of the Neretva river. We definitely would like to return here! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow, what a phenomenal place to stay. It's in the running for my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff were so kind; getting to meet and chat with them a bit was so lovely, and they really took care of us - I felt almost like I was welcomed into someone's home. The food was beyond delicious, both for breakfast and dinner; I wish I could make fish that good! (And if you're a coffee drinker, Bosnia has figured out some of the best coffee I've ever had.)

We need to thanks the front staff, Elma for providing us all the info, arrange our private for tour around Mostar and the breakfast is amazing as well. Recommended if you’re coming to Mostar, bonus there is rooftop lounge on the top if the hotel. Great view of Old Town especially at night time.

I feel sorry for Booking.com that values this hotel and gives a high rate where everything mentioned is not the same thing we have expected, imagine a bottle of water charger you almost 1 USD, where all 5 Star hotels provide you free, staffs roud and not respected, I realized not in the hotel itself everywhere in the Monster, maybe we are Muslim/Arab (I don't know), I spent my time without feeling my holiday in this area.

Very close to lovely old town of Mostar, easy flat walk. Lots of restaurants cafes and shops there. Property had secure parking on sight. Very friendly host met us with keys. Huge property two large double rooms, kitchen area and separate bathroom. It’s a must to go to the war museum very very interesting but so sad to see the horrendous events that took place and the suffering and torture during the Bosnian war.

We were arriving quite late in the night and they didn’t have any problem with waiting for us even though our bus kept delaying. They also treated us with delicious Bosnian sweets and gave us a small present that would remind us of Mostar! Thank you for that <3 The place is also very clean and quite

The owners at the very beginning gave all the most important information about sightseeing and the city, and it was just a short walk to get to the old town part of the city. The standard was very good, the room was comfortable, spacious, and cozy. Breakfast was tasty.
