Nice stay and quiet. Staff was courteous and helpful. Kept car in back court yard and off street. Nice view over river and road. A little frustrating figuring which building and which door to come in the first time, Look way up for the sign, and entrance is door on left of garage door, looking in.

As other reviews mentioned, my kids loved the place. It has many things to keep young children busy (5 and 8) and sometimes it was even hard to get them out to explore. The property is really nicely decorated, has all the amenities and a very convenient and useful fireplace. Additionally, our host was extremely friendly and understanding of some delays we had for check-in.

Breakfast: Appetizer (Cold plate) - Bigger than the pancake serving. You could try the reverse, or eliminate the cold plate altogether and save. Berry preserves + pancakes were very tasty. Dinner: Salmon - Great meal. (It is customary to serve a slice of lemon with the fish.)

The close location to Bauska, it was easier to get a taxi. The children's corner was great and the outdoor area was very spacious and interesting. The interior design was excellent and really pleasant to live in. Food was excellent and staff very informative and helpful. There is someone in the reception overnight which is absolutely amazing.
